Many of you know I have a love-hate relationship with reality TV. The Real Housewives are one of my guilty pleasures and on the other hand, I believe that reality TV is one of the reasons so many people in our society have misplaced values. However, the new season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is providing us with an up close look at a person trying to create new values for herself and family. I’ve often wondered why it takes people hitting rock bottom for them to make a change when we have the ability to change in with every moment. I think it would be a wasted opportunity for Teresa Giudice to return from prison the same person and with the same priorities. My wish for Teresa is that she free herself from past mistakes and regrets and move forward with her life with new perspective and understanding of what’s truly important.
I hope that returning to a similar environment and her need to make money to support he family doesn’t cause her to go back to old habits. What do you think?
