Holiday Giveaway # 3 – The Miracle-Gro® AeroGarden® 3SL
I’m having a lot of fun growing fresh herbs with my hydroponic AeroGarden! I’ve become an urban farmer and this past weekend I harvested dill and basil from the garden. You can WIN a Miracle-Gro AeroGarden 3SL by leaving a comment below with your FAVORITE holiday dish. Maybe you’ll start the New Year with your own hydroponic AeroGarden. Winner will be chosen on December 23, 2014.
My favorite holiday dish is dressing. The best piece is always a corner piece that has those crunchy edges. Yum! Happy Holidays all and Carpe Diem!!
Angela- dressing with gravy and cranberry sauce is one of my FAVs too..Happy Holidays! CARPE DIEM
Favorite recipe, just discovered with Quinoa!
1 cup,cook quinoa
1/8 cup pine nuts
2 tsp chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic copped
2 tbsp olive oil
1/8 cup raisins
I tbsp fresh lemon juice
Soften garlic in pan with olive oil. Add quinoa, raisins, parsley, toasted pine nuts, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Yummy main course or side dish for all! I freeze the cooked quinoa in one cup freezer bags and thaw the night below. Makes a quick meal of great protein and all those good ingredients! 1/2 cup is 300 calories.
Definitely going to try this recipe Jill…HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Carpe Diem
I love food in general! If I have to choose one as a fave holiday dish…it would be ham. A big juicy baked ham.
Shirice- I like the crispy part of ham and little chewy fat…totally not the healthy part to eat. Happy Holidays! CARPE DIEM
My favorite holiday dish is Mac & Cheese. My Granny use to make it every Christmas. Since I don’t have her recipe, I’m left to create my own! I found a really good recipe on a blog – Garlic & Bacon Mac & Cheese! Hopefully it turns out as good as it looks!! I also looove my moms Tamale Pie!
Bionca- Garlic & Bacon Mac sounds good! Do you have your grandmother’s recipe? I’ve never had tamale pie before. Happy Holidays to you and your family! CARPE DIEM
I’ll say my favorite dish is the Traditional Cod recipe my aunts make for Christmas with the special ingredients my grandma used.
I love the flavor and the memories it brings of the time all were together.
It is super traditional in Mexico the Romeritos and herb that looks like Rosemary with shrimp, potatoes and mole sauce. Delicious!!!
I really enjoyed your video. I think you have a gift! Your words inspired and uplifted me on a day when I was dragging.
